Outreach Program

"Whatsoever you do to the least of my people, you do it unto me" (Mathew 25:40)
Through this quote, the students, staff and director of St. Joseph's P U Evening College participated in the Outreach Program at Bosco Mane, Chamarajpet on 5th November 2021. There were eighty children in the home. Father In-charge welcomed and allowed us to interact with the children.
The students and the staff conducted various activities for the children in the home. The children were divided into different groups. Our students were present in all the groups to assist the home children to participate. The children in Bosco mane enjoyed all the activities that were conducted. The students who won the events were given gifts which in turn encouraged the children to participate.
Our students were asked to make themselves aware and empathize with the sufferings of the poor, marginalized and underprivileged sections of society. The outreach program made the students Reach out to the underprivileged children and work for their upliftment. Outreach program made the students realize how blessed they are, motivated a lot of students to be happy and self-contented with what they are blessed with. They learned to live a joyful life and also experienced deepening their faith in God. At the end of the program students shared their experience and handed over gifts bought by them to the in-charge of the home.
