Kannada Rajyotsava and Children's Day Celebration

Kannada Rajyotsava has been celebrated every year on November 1st since 1956 with great pomp in our State, Karnataka. Kannadigas celebrate this day as the Karnataka State-formation day as all the Kannada speaking regions of South India were merged to form the State. 65th Kannada Rajyotsava was celebrated in our college on November 13th with a short programme which began with an inter-religious prayer. The students prayed for the State and depicted the glory of Karnataka by singing the state song and also a short video was presented to showcase the richness of our state.
In addition to this event, A Day marking childhood was celebrated with fun and frolic at our college. Later the students were seated in the auditorium and were given a chance to experience a power-packed programme specially arranged for the students. Teachers gave various performances for the students in order to exhibit their love and affection for them.
