    NAVARAS, the Inter-Class Cultural Competition of St. Joseph's PU Evening College, was a vibrant celebration of talent, creativity, and cultural diversity. Held from 20th August 2024 to 30th August 2025, the week-long event highlighted the artistic expressions of students through music, dance, theatre, and creative arts. Organized by the Cultural Committee, the event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, faculty members, and guests. The cultural programme began with an inaugural ceremony on 14th August 2024, graced by Rev. Fr. Ashwin Cordeiro SJ, the Director and Principal Ms. Thara T, along with the faculty members and students. Throughout the week, various competitions were conducted, beginning with solo singing, cooking without fire, collage making, the debate competition in English, Kannada, and Hindi, mehendi art, pot painting and sketching were conducted. The concluding day featured the vibrant events including solo dance, rangoli, group dance, group singing, split screen, and the much-awaited fashion parade, which added colour and excitement to the conclusion of the festival. The valedictory programme on 30th August 2025 was honoured by the presence of Sri Malatesh Badiger, Theatre Director, and Smt. Chaya Bhargavi, Theatre Personality, as the chief guests, along with Rev. Fr. Ashwin Cordeiro SJ, Principal Ms. Thara T, Vice-Principal Mr. Bhaskar Y and Event Coordinator’s. presiding over the event. NAVARAS 2025 proved to be a grand success, encouraging creativity and cultural exchange among students while offering a refreshing break from the academic routine and an opportunity for participants to discover and showcase their talents.
