I PUC Orientation

Orientation for I PUC students and parents was organised on 15th June 2024 in Loyola Hall at 5.30pm. The event was presided by Rev Fr Dr Daniel Fernandes SJ, Rector and Vice - President of BJES and graced by Rev Fr Ashwin Cordeiro SJ, the Director, Mr Victor Antony, former Principal, Ms Thara, the Principal, Mr. Bhakar, Vice - Principal, Dr Govindaraju T, the Coordinator of the event. The event began with the inter - religious prayer by the college prayer team followed by lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries. Ms Fouzia Khanum welcomed the august gathering. Rev Fr Ashwin Cordeiro SJ introduced Rev Fr Dr Daniel Fernandes SJ, Rector and Vice - President of BJES and welcomed him as the new Rector with felicitation. He also described the contributions made by Mr Victor Antony as the principal of SJPUEC for eight years and felicitated him too. Rev Fr Dr Daniel Fernandes SJ, Rector, blessed the students with his thought-provoking speech.
Ms Thara, the principal introduced the teaching and non - teaching faculty members to the I PUC students and their parents. She explained about the Academic Activities, Examination, Attendance, discipline of the college. Mr Bhaskar, Vice - Principal explained about the Non - Academic Components like Sports, Cultural Activities, Outreach Programmes, Competitions conducted in the college and conducted by other colleges. Mr Arulappa proposed Vote of Thanks.
