NAVARAS 2026, the Intra-Collegiate Cultural Competition of St. Joseph's PU Evening College, was a vibrant celebration of talent, creativity, and cultural diversity. The event brought together students from across the section and provided the platform for them to express their creativity, showcase their talents, and participate in a spirit of healthy competition. The cultural programme began with an inaugural ceremony on 10th August 2026, graced by Mr. Anurag Gaddi, a music composer and professional singer, along with Rev. Fr. Aswin Cordeiro SJ, the Director, Vice-Principal Mr. Bhaskar Y, the faculty members, and students. The programme was coordinated by Mr. Praveen, whose efforts contributed to the smooth conduct of the event. Throughout NAVARAS 2026, a wide range of competitions and activities were conducted, encouraging students to explore and showcase their talents beyond the academic environment. The events included solo singing, cooking without fire, sketching, debate, and several other creative and cultural competitions. The enthusiastic participation of students reflected the vibrant cultural atmosphere of the college. The final day featured some of the most awaited events of the fest, including group dance, solo dance, and the much-anticipated fashion walk. The stage came alive with energetic performances, creative presentations, confidence, coordination, and individuality. The competitions provided participants with an opportunity to express themselves while entertaining and engaging the audience. Mr. Wilfred Prince, an alumnus of St. Joseph's PU Evening College was the judge and his association with the institution made his presence especially meaningful, and his experience and judgement added credibility to the evaluation of the performances.mA special highlight of the programme was a dance performance by the judge himself. His performance was warmly received by the audience and added another memorable dimension to the celebrations. The presence of Chief Guest Mr. Anurag Gaddi enhanced the grandeur of NAVARAS 2026. A talented music composer and professional singer, Mr. Gaddi, along with his fellow musicians, presented captivating musical performances for the audience. Their performance created an energetic and memorable atmosphere and brought a fitting musical highlight to the celebration. The prize distribution ceremony was conducted to honour the winners and recognise the efforts of the participants.
