Leadership Training Programme Report

St. Joseph’s PU Evening College (SJPUEC) successfully organised a Leadership Training Programme for the newly elected Student Council. The session was led by Br. Sagayam SJ, who inspired the student leaders through his thought-provoking and engaging interactions. The programme aimed at equipping student council members with essential leadership qualities, communication skills, responsibility, teamwork, and decision-making abilities. Br. Sagayam SJ emphasized that leadership is not merely a position of authority but a commitment to serve others with integrity, dedication, and empathy. Through interactive discussions and practical examples, the participants were encouraged to become confident leaders who can positively influence their peers and contribute meaningfully to the growth of the institution. The session also highlighted the importance of discipline, collaboration, accountability, and effective communication in building a strong and responsible student community. The training programme proved to be highly beneficial and motivating for all the participants. It provided the student council members with valuable insights into the qualities of an effective leader and inspired them to take up their responsibilities with enthusiasm and commitment.
