First PUC Orientation Program

The student orientation program was organized to welcome and assist the first pu student of our college. The orientation was conducted on June 18, 2025 in Loyola Hall at 5.30 pm. The event was presided by Rev. Dr. Daniel Fernandes SJ, Rector and Vice-President of BJES and graced by Rev Fr. Ashwin Corderio SJ, Director, Ms. Thara T Principal, Mr. Bhaskar Y Vice -Principal and Dr. Govindaraju T Convenor of the program. The event began with the interreligious prayer service by the college prayer team led by Mr. Gali Balaswamy followed by the lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries. The gathering was welcomed by Dr. Govindaraju T. Rev. Fr. Daniel Fernandes SJ, Rector and Vice President welcomed the students to the Josephite family and delivered the key note address. Rev. Fr. Ashwin Cordeiro SJ emphasized the importance of education and the gave the valuable inputs towards a successful journey of the students. Short video presentation was displayed marking the achievements of the students during the last academic year. Introduction of the teaching and non-teaching staff was conducted by Ms. Thara T, Principal and delivered a holistic report on the academic and non-academic activities of the college marking the importance of attendance, examination and discipline in the college. Mr. Bhaskar Y, Vice-Principal delivered the vote of thanks and Ms. Remya Ramesh compared the orientation program.
