INVESTITURE CEREMONY 2026–2027

St. Joseph's PU Evening College proudly celebrated its Investiture Ceremony for the academic year 2026–2027 on July 9, 2026, marking an important milestone in fostering leadership, responsibility, and service among students. The ceremony commenced with a prayer, invoking divine blessings for a successful and responsible year ahead which was followed by the traditional Lamp-Lighting Ceremony by the Chief Guest, Mrs. Ishrath Nisar, along with the Director, Principal, Vice Principal, Students Council Governor and College President. The lighting of the lamp symbolized the light of knowledge, leadership, and wisdom that guides young minds towards excellence. The highlight of the programme was the Badge Distribution Ceremony, during which the newly elected Student Council members were officially entrusted with their responsibilities for the academic year 2026–2027. Student Council for the academic year 2026–2027, President – Farhan Pasha, Vice President – Abdul Rahmaan, General Secretary – Siddharth Sreejesh, Junior Vice President – Jeevan Paul, Joint Secretary – Ranjitha N H , Cultural Secretary – Daisy Christina D, Sports Secretary – Prattam G H, Following the pinning of the badges, the newly elected office bearers solemnly took the oath, pledging to uphold the values and traditions of the institution and to serve the student community with dedication, sincerity, and integrity. The Chief Guest, Mrs. Ishrath Nisar, is a distinguished educator, journalist, and mentor. She is the first Muslim woman to work in Kannada journalism and also worked as a costume designer for the award-winning Kannada film Hasina, which received three National Awards. She is widely admired for her dedication to mentoring young people and inspiring them to think positively and lead with purpose. Addressing the gathering, Mrs. Ishrath Nisar encouraged the students to dream big, work hard, believe in themselves, and embrace leadership with confidence and determination. She emphasized that true leadership is built upon responsibility, integrity, service, and the ability to inspire and uplift others. The Investiture Ceremony concluded on an inspiring note, leaving the newly elected council members motivated to lead with commitment, responsibility, and a spirit of service. The college expresses its heartfelt gratitude to Mrs. Ishrath Nisar for gracing the occasion with her esteemed presence and for sharing her valuable insights and words of encouragement. The ceremony marked the beginning of a new chapter of student leadership at St. Joseph's PU Evening College, reaffirming its commitment to nurturing responsible citizens and future leaders.
